Kimberley Small – Advanced Practitioner

Kimberley Small

Kim is the Physiotherapy practitioner for Wessex and Education co-ordinator for the region.

She has worked with people with spinal cord injuries since 2008 in a variety of clinical and community settings.

Clinically, Kim can visit patients in the Wessex sub-region to support individuals and their local teams with physiotherapy interventions and management. She is also involved in the short stay assessment pathway to provide assessment and advice for people who have not had rehabilitation at the spinal cord injury centre. Having worked at the spinal centre for most of her career, she has a range of skills including complete and incomplete rehabilitation, posture and seating assessment and long-term management of SCI.

Kim is passionate about spinal cord injury education and the role it plays in improving the patient experience.
