Our projects

The network team oversee regional projects working towards the following priorities:

South West Adult Spinal Cord Injury Network priorities

Neurogenic Bowel Working group

One of the primary objectives for the SCI Network is to support neurogenic bowel management practises across our region. We’ve launched a neurogenic bowel working group with a range of clinical specialists, charity partners and commissioners to look at how we can improve access to consistent SCI specialist bowel management.

Resource Development and signposting

We want SCI resources to be readily available and easy to find. Our website aims to host resources and links for people with SCI, their families and the professionals working within SCI rehabilitation. You’ll find a series of links to other SCI centres, resource hubs and education links, as well as our own resources. We’re working on developing resources to improve access to essential information and to help make sense of all aspects of SCI care.

If you have suggestions on resources you’d like to see, would like to host an SCI Study Day or are interested in SCI training, please contact sft.southwestscinetwork@nhs.net
