Sophie is the Network Principal Clinical Psychologist, bringing over 12 years of experience working across varied physical and mental health settings within the NHS. She aims to support patients with spinal cord injuries, their families, and the staff caring for them, by ensuring that psychological rehabilitation and adjustment is prioritised alongside physical rehabilitation.
Sophie offers training and consultation for teams working with patients with spinal cord injuries so that all clinicians feel confident in recognising and supporting the psychological needs of patients, and in delivering psychologically-informed care. She works closely with Psychology, Psychiatry, and mental health colleagues throughout the Network.
