Francesco is a consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, based in Plymouth.

With more than 20 years of experience in the wider rehabilitation field he has also a special interest in spinal injuries having worked in inpatients (Montecatone Rehabilitation Institute-Italy; Salisbury Spinal Centre-UK) and outpatients ( Spinal Hub Bologna-Italy, Outpatients and Baclofen Pump Clinics in Plymouth) spinal services.

Francesco is the clinical lead of the Level 2a Plym Neurorehabilitation Unit and he is passionate about evidence-based care to maximise  patients’ independence.

He is senior Fellow of the European Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,  Honorary fellow of the Peninsula Medical School of Plymouth, member of the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine and of the Italian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
