An occupational therapist by background, prior to joining the Spinal Cord Injury Centre in Salisbury. Catherine has had an extensive career in the rehabilitation of people with a wide range of conditions/injuries/disabilities, including inpatients in various specialties, musculoskeletal rehabilitation (particularly upper limb), pain management, mental health and community rehabilitation services.

Since 2014, Catherine has been leading the Spinal Therapy team, as well as working clinically with inpatients and outpatients. In 2022, she took up the role of Clinical Lead for the service in Salisbury and was instrumental in designing and delivering the SW region’s SCI Transformation plan, including the establishment of the SW SCI Network which she currently leads in the role of Clinical Director, on behalf of NHS England (South West).
